So there has been some Sangheili news and now that Azhaq has been busy with work im gonna be the one sharing it with you all.
On Halo waypoint they revealed that Halo 5 is gonna be out in 2015 and the game is gonna be called Halo 5 Guardians. Im gonna share the link on this journal for the ones that want to read more about it.
The interesting thing for us Sangheili fans though, is the picture at the very bottom...

and specially the huge Sangheili statue on the right side. Could this be Sangheilios?
We can only hope that Halo 5 will introduce us a lot more about the universe of the Sangheili. I at least have a good feeling, that 2015 is gonna be one of the best years for the Sangheili fans... we can only wait and see

Well that happened...
Sorry for the last journal. I know it's been a while since anything has been posted here but I noticed it while I was approving the last batch of submissions and felt I should probably talk about it a little.
A certain former admin decided that after years of inactivity to log in, do that and then quit. I'm assuming he probably thought it was funny. :shrug:
Lets keep a good energy in this group fellow Sangheili fans, and we will do our best something like this doesn't happen again.

So I was sketching and trying to learn about the Sangheili anatomy when I found this

Its a fully detailed Sangheili body! Its the same model that was used on Halo 2 Anniversary for the Arbiter. Why am I sharing this? Well now that there's a lot of Sangheili artists here I wanted to share what I am now using to learn how to draw the Sangheili body + I think its very fascinating.

The judges will get togheter as soon as we can and decide the three winners, like we said we will be considering the poses, attention to details, art style and coloring.

Rules:
- You must draw Sangheilis doing close combat training
- It must be drawings, digital or classical. If it is classical and you take a picture of it then make sure its a clear picture so we can see the details.
- You are welcome to draw already existing characters, random Sangheili, or even your own OC Sanghei

I completely agree with Lorcan0c. I've been pretending most of Halo Legends doesn't exist, period, but that one might have irritated me the most. I understand that the Sangheili are very similar to feudal Japanese culture in their actions, but that does not mean that they have to be living in the exact same architecture. They're an alien race from an alien planet, c'mon, guys.
I've really got my fingers crossed for seeing Sangheilios in Halo 5; that blog post seems really promising. The picture at the bottom has me really excited, I can't wait for more news on this.
